Questions, Suggestions, and Possible Bugs
I just recently got Airport CEO, and I have to say, for an early access game, it is wonderful.
However, there are a few things I have run across that are either bugs, or things that I don't know how to approach. The only reason these seem long is due to the examples I give of the problems occuring. None of these problems affect my overall view of the game, I'd just like attention to be brought to them.
Topics (4 total)
1: Cargo Destroyer / possible glitch / possible user error.
2: Shops & Resturants / possible user error / suggestions on improvement
3: Gate seating / suggestions on improvent
4: Boarding medium commercial flights / suggestions on improvment

First, the "Cargo Destroyers." I built one, connected it to the belt system for all the scanner stations, and then I let it do its thing. After a while of working fine, it jams, creating a giant backup in the entire baggage system, it would then start working after awhile. As I can't have the entire system tied up waiting for the thing to work, I moved it farther away (considerably farther)... and hooked it back up (thought behind this being that, if it did jam, it wouldn't become a problem as quick, and would hopefully unjam after a while). Well, this was just dandy and I went about working on the rest of the airport. After a while of the new setup, I happened to look back at the cargo bay, and noticed a long line of baggage stemming from that darn cargo destroyer... jamming the entire system... again. I am now on plan C. I have three cargo destroyers, all with long belt systems, all connected to the same main system, with tilt trays mixing up the destribution of the tainted baggage.
Now, I don't know if that will work (only just did it)... I don't know if the jamming is a bug, or if it is supposed to happen... and if it is supposed to happen, I don't know how to fix it (I have removed the baggage out of the destroyer itself, this does not fix it). Some insight would be apreciated.

Second, Shops and Resturants. At first glance, brilliant ideas. Get people when they are stuck waiting in a building, hungry, and with nothing to do. The only problem is, how do you make people go to these locations? I have both Shops and Resturants that are placed in busy sections of the airport that don't break 20 sales. Am I missing something?
Now I also thought, "lets put a coffee shop in the entrance area of the building" (by the door). This went over great... Sure, it got a lot of sales... so many that there was a line out the door of the airport! I had people coming from landed planes walking through all the resturants in the airport, walking out the door, and going back in the entrance to that stupid little two star coffee shop. I have now gotten rid of that place, and put it in the main airport with all the other resturants. I even put it right next to the security point. Does it get the same amount of business? No.
I would suggest making people more willing to visit these places. Now... if I am missing something and it is my fault that they don't go to these businesses, please let me know what I might be doing wrong.

Third, Gate Seating. I build my gates to look all the same (exactactly the same...). Large amount of gate seating, a few laptop tables, and all in the spacious confines of a stretch of wall on either side (open to the hall, but not the next gate. This set up is very visualy apealing (at least to me)... Que the flights, business starts booming. I look at my gates... The ungrateful people are scattered around the airport (past the security point). Some are in businesses (not buying anything!) Others are at other gates... So, unless I am missing the key to making these people sit at their gate and impatiently wait on their flight (like at a real airport)... Please! I beg of you! Make it so that they have to wait in an ASSIGNED area for their specific flight.

Lastly, (and this kinda ties in with the Third topic), have people get to planes faster, get to the airport sooner, or not use seating on the opposite end of the airport from where their flight is. This stems from events like the following example... that happened. I had a plane that was tied to a pushforce vehicle, but was not moving. I thought this was because it was glitched, but when I clicked on the plane's terminal, it showed that it was waiting for about 7 passangers. Most of these passangers I saw come from other gates or from areas nowhere near their flight. They boarded. 1 missing... 30 sec... 1min... finally the fool shows up... he walks to the boarding desk... and the minute he got to it, the plane leaves, leaving the idiot behind (something I had a nice laugh over, as I wanted the plane to leave before even the other late people got on... you snooze you lose). I would say that this event could be my fault. Not enough security stations or something that caused him to be late... but 147 (or so) people made it on time... so what gives? What I assume is that the person was using a laptop table on the opposite end of the airport (which they continuously do). By the way, at no point did this plane ask for a delay, and it was about an hour and thirty overdue.

This game is super buggy right now, ordered a fuel truck that got stuck on the service road entrance gate, had to close the vehical depo to get it moving again, and now they are refusing to fuel up the planes landing. :( Also this game needs more depth when explaining how to do stuff, took forever trying to get planes to land at my airport.
