Generating Sales

So, I've been trying this for quite some time but it seems like I'm failing miserably. How do you generate sales with your franchises that fulfill the contract? I operate 7 medium stands with constant flights currently, and put my franchises right where the people have to walk, but I don't even come close to meeting sales targets. How do you guys do it?

You need shops and restraunts too. They earn revenue through contracts.

After the updates and making a new airport now i noticed that the shops and restaurants before security area was super crowded whail the shops and restaurants in the security/terminal area got barely any sales at all

The shops and restaurant business aspects are still fairly experimental. If it is too hard we might need better balancing. Let me know your experiences.

It should be hard to get those bonuses. The shops and eating places already give enough money in rent and tyhe % cut.

IF you manage to get their bonus (in terms of numbers of purchases) well that should be an achievement - make it a Steam achievement.

The balance is ok, for me, at the moment.

Well i put them between the seatings of 2 gates. People are sitting most of the time and the hunger icon will appear. So i would suggest to stick to food sales for now. Shopping sales are not really profitable as of now. They may don't want to spent money for souvenirs, maybe they should sell steam-keys for AirportCEO ;) Anyways food sale targets are realtively easy to achieve.

as it stands, Franchises make the game really easy. , Granted I have only had 5 gates running, 3 med and 2 small. The rent alone from 2 shops totalling about 120 m2 iirc, is plenty to keep my costs in check.

The total sales bonus isn't something I've paid much mind, though I did get one done. on a 140m2 foodplace in the entrance hall, which originally called for one sales desk, and I put 2 down. All the folks waiting for check ins to open, or their bags to appear, would flock to it.

Making money is so easy now that I got nothing to yearn for really, Just waiting for some features to be ironed out, and others to be implemented I guess.. (Like regular scheduled flights <-- Not a hint at all :P )
