For those of you who are struggling with baggage!
I quickly built a simple baggage system to show you how it can be setup.

Step 1:
- Check your zooning and path to the baggage bay. If you have a disconnected baggage bay, make sure there is a viable path including sidewalks, doors and crosswalks for the ramp agents to get there.
- Make sure that the baggage bay has service road connection (service road can be built inside for this purpose).
- Make sure that all belts face the correct direction. Use R to rotate.
- Wait with scanners and tilt trays if you are having trouble getting the basic setup.

See screenshot for reference:

Step 2:
- Connect your stands to the baggage bay.
- Connect your baggage claim are to the baggage bay.
- Connect check-in desks to the baggage bay.
- Make sure you have enough ramp agents to both service stands and the baggage bay.
- Make sure you have enabled baggage handling in the operations menu.

EDIT: Maybe this is not clearly communicated, but baggage is not required. You can very well run an airport without baggage. Just FYI. :)

Are you on an old save? I restarted since last patch and everything seems to be working fine now.

+1 on the issue of the bags just piling up at check in with a seemily working conveyour system, the baggage works when taking it from a flight which has arrived and sends it to the reclaim area okay but the checkin to departing flights build up at checkin.

Tried saving and exiting but issue still persists.

We are working on some baggage fixes which will be pushed soon. Can you send us this file to support@airportceo.com so that we can make sure we have fixed it?

I see one arrow is somehow missalign in the top right corner. Does rebuilding this section solves it?

FYI, bags get frequently stuck on underground conveyor belts. Save sent to support@

i dont know why but when i create a belt from any types of scanner, no baggage move on it, blocking everything, anyone know what to do?

Check your baggage belt directions. Press Y to toggle them

Is it only me? The tutorial tells me to "make sure you buy service trucks". I do not find where I could buy them. Thanks in advance for help!

Oh, found it: under procurement (in case anyone else is struggling with it)

Looks to me like staff are not coming through a secure section to go to work in bag bay. need to be all secure.

My baggage bay is not in a secured area neither and is working as expected... I made it a Staff only zone though?

Looking at the screenshot, the belts don't seem to be connected properly to the ins and outs of the baggage bay. I think it only starts working properly (that exclamation mark removed) if the belts properly come from the check-in desks and go out properly to the baggage retrieval

My baggage bay was working fine up to the point it there was to much baggage, now the servicecars (a lot of them) are stuck in the baggage bay - there seems to be no option to solve something like that or am i miss something?

Does opeing the debug panel on F10 and reset vehicle path works?

I got it running now. But my biggest problem is that it is not possible to build crossings.
Why does it is not posssible to cross over- and underground lanes? That would make thing a lot easier.

When baggages are unloaded to bay (brought from airplane), those all stuck end of the bay before exiting the default bay structure.

I think I was having the same problem for the first day... about 12 flights had come in and everything was stuck on the incoming carousel

Came here looking for advice and gave up but after restarting the game the baggage has started to move. Image shows it starting to work

Baggage seems to be working well now since it's been patched. One suggestion I would make would be to not open your baggage service until during the night when there are no flights, that way you won't have any dead luggage on your bay do nothing. I found if I turned it on during the day the first couple of flights would be held up way to long and if you sent them off you would end up with the dead luggage. Also make sure you have ample ramp agents as they need to service aircraft and do luggage so the turn around takes a lot longer.

I also have gotten in the habit of putting a ramp agent staff room right next to my baggage bay so they have quick access, it also helps if this is close to your stands so they don't have to travel to far.

My best advice is to triple check your secure zones that lead into your bagagge area.

Edit: I also found having a couple more service vehicles than stands helps as well.

I'd love to use tilt trays, to make bagage go to certain bagage-claiming area's (eg. using a claim belt for each stand)
