How to connect check-in desks

How can I connect check-in desks to medium stands?

you don't have to, just make sure its in secure area and your boarding desks are connected to the ramps.

I'm having trouble connecting the boarding desk to the stands. I place the stand near the wall next to the stand, open up the wall, but there is no way to manually connect it. At least I don't see it. Can anyone help?

I am assuming that the stand is set up to receive commercial aircraft?
