Report a translation problem
On the airport I'm showing off, I started on extreme with only GA stands. Currently, I don't do any GA anymore. They in the way and started making my commercial flights delayed. Now I am all commercial with 3 medium stands, and 5 small stands. Currently have about 1,700,000 in the bank.
Baggage Claim:
Three carousel's that do a decent job of splitting up the incoming flight's baggage. Sometimes one carousel seems to take on 4 or 5 flights before the other's get one, but then they usually balance out shortly after.

Medium Gate Area:
Three security check's for three medium gates. Seems overkill, but if I ever schedule three 737's, it is needed. Also, staff room & offices are in this area including my CFO's office who I need to fire because he can't figure out how to budget anymore (budget option tells me to hire a CFO to unlock fee adjustment).

Small Gate Area:
Five small stands for this wing of the airport. Most of my flights are in and out of here. One security check for this area is all that is needed. I had quite the time getting planes in and out of this wing, finally figured out that my GA was the problem, so that was immediately turned off.

Overall View:
I have two runways, the far runway is designated for arrivals while the closest runway to the terminal is designated for departure. You can see where my GA setup was at, I had the least amount of trouble with it there, until I added my small gate wing -- then the GA was interfering with my commercial traffic.

2 runways - 7 small and 4 med stands with over mill in the bank
started on very hard with 1 comercial small stand and worked up.
All 7 small stands doing GA atm so i dont have to keep renewing flight contracts and only running medium flights when im testing changes to set up as a full on flight list will cause to much lag with 500+ passengers running round.
Airport makes more than enough cash without running flights from shop rent and GA tho the tolits make the most money in the whjole airport.
Still cant make enough sales to get a hop contract bonus.
Game is bugged so even tho i have and maintain fuel, planes will not request it
This is nice. I need to get better with using different floor styles to make my terminal more appealing.
I can usually schedule 12 or so small contract flights and about 3 or 4 medium contract flights and still have no issue with lag, but as soon as I get 3 medium contract flights to overlap, the slowdown is real. Honestly, I feel like it adds a bit of realism to my airport when I don't have planes are every gate 24/7.
Next thing I am going to do with my airport is add vendors and shops and try to dress up my terminal a little bit. I like how you charge people a fee to use the restroom. I can't bring myself to do that.

The top runway is Departing, the other is Arriving. Notice the GA planes that have left the stands in the lower right have gone up to the left, instead of to the right where they would depart. They get knotted up that way, takes a while for one to correct itself, but then the next one just moves up in line and does the same.

Having a hard time to see your holding points, but I'm sure you have them before each runway/taxiway intersection. I can't say for certain with your set up, but I would strongly recommend building taxiways that are short, direct, and simple. When you give the game more options with the taxiing, ♥♥♥♥ gets weird.
Just above your terminal, you have to parallel taxi ways which creates a loop. I would delete one of them, of course then, you run into the issue of planes having to wait for one to get through that entire strip of taxiway.
If you look at my airport above, I have everything running on a general loop, with short, direct taxiways. Get the planes in and out quick. What ends up happening on yours I'm sure is that planes are taxiing, then there is a shift in the wind which forces the next wave of planes to taxi in the opposite direction. Because it takes your planes so long to taxi on those long taxiways, planes then end up running into each other and freaking out.

In the meanwhile I added some shops and food to the airport, including the expansion of the terminal to 6 small and 4 medium gates. But seems I don't made as screenshot of that yet ;) Will see if I can add later today.
i now have 10GA gate (not shown in this screenshot) and it works just fine.
