Smooth motion on one controller and teleport on the other?

Since the game got some special functionality reserved for teleporting (and the ocasional oportuinty to get trapped in the scenary), but smooth motion feels so much more natural and easier to use without thinking during combat; can we please have the option of setting the locomotion mode independently for each controller?

And how about an option to have smooth motion on touch, and then when the touchpad is pressed temporally switch to teleporting?

I also prefer smooth locomotion. But I can't figure out how to teleport (for assassination), when smooth locomotion is active. Is it possible?
