Re-bind "Return" key...?

I use the Return key to reload in every game I've played on PC. However, in this game, the Return key is hard coded to pull up the squad/map menu, so although I can use it to reload my gun, because the developers have also hard coded it to the squad/map menu, I have to double tap the key to reload and make the window go away.

I've looked into trying to find the game files to see if I can un-map the hard coding of the Return key, but can't find the keybindings file. When trying to download and use 3rd party software to remap my Return key to = "R" while playing this game, requires a reboot to take affect. I am not going to reboot to play this, and then reboot again to make my Return key work for everything outside of the game.

Does anyone else know of a potential way around this?

Im in exactly the same boat but i refunded as my brain is hardwired for Return to be reload.
I will deffo be back once they fix the unbindable keys issues

Would the program AutoHotKey work? I use it in other games where Enter is hard coded, but would East Anti-Cheat have an issue with it?

Anyone aware if the rebind issues are in the frame for a fix? Are they even acknowledged?

Would be nice to know, as I'm in the same boat. I had to refund as i'm too used to using ENTER for another bind

I'd also like a way to rebind the return key. It's a common key used by lefties.

Would the program AutoHotKey work? I use it in other games where Enter is hard coded, but would East Anti-Cheat have an issue with it?

Yeah, EAC (as well as any other sensible anticheat) will ban you for this, since AHK is one of the easiest programs to make macros with to pull off stuff that shouldn't be possible.

Sucks for disabled players that need to rely on AHK programs to even play any games, but yeah, AHK is mostly used nefariously.

If he/she is left-handed, I imagine he/she is using arrows for movement instead of WSAD.
