Are Gamepass save files compatible with the Steam version of the game?

Tried this out for free on Gamepass but would rather play it on Steam. I like it so far. Are the save files transferable?

It looks like they are not. I transfered mine from GP to Steam (I played it via Family sharing thanks to my friend). It detected the save but it freezed on loading the save :(

Where does Gamepass exactly store the save game for Atomic Heart?

My folders don't align with the guides and anytime I have got the GP save into Steam it gets deleted everytime. Cloud save disabled, does not seem to matter.
