Move into open space

Standing outside in an open space with nothing above me or hardly anything around me and still can not use the map lol.

Me neither, everything i find about the map says all you have to do is get to the train station and board the train. Im at least 2 hours PAST that point and i STILL cant open the map. I dont know whats going on.

It will be usable MUCH later in the story.

I can use the map and haven't gotten to the train station yet, this is incredibly odd on all fronts.

Winterson.....What do you mean by MUCH later? Is there a mission for it or something?

Just a small hint - annoying robot at train station and after you get aboard, after cut scene you will be able to use the map.

Winterson, i am FAR BEYOND that point, ive already been to the next area where you collect all the missing parts for the robot to put the facility in Military drill mode. Im like 2 hours PAST the train with the annoying robot.

That's definitely odd; I was able to use the map as soon as I exited the first facility into the village.

Yeah that sounds like a glitch, I hope I don't get it. Hope you can solve it too mang, ouch. I needs me maps!

Yeah, NOTHING i've done so far fixes it. I've reloaded different save files, but NOTHING fixes it.

I´ve heard about a LOT of glitches and bugs. I will make pause for some time after they iron it out.
I´ve made save backups in case I run into some bugs...but it´s not fun just to play with expectation of game breaking bug.

I've also got the glitch, got the map, used it to find a testing ground, did the VDNH mission and since then I can't use my map.

turns out if you save the game, exit and reload the game after the trainstation crash, you can access the map.

A little concerning, so hopefully this glitch is addressed. Really not a fan of games with no maps, especially big ones with hidden secrets..
