Will this update offer everything it offers at any stage of the game or do I need to start a new game to experience it?

I hope the animations like expressions and stuff are greatly improved. It's a bit jarring to have this happy look atmosphere, but their expressions when posing or other stuff looks devoid of life ^^;. Especially since the work has gone in to having voice actors.

And also I don't understand why swimming isn't a thing? Like...I found it odd the game resets my position whenever I went into the water. And I hover of the water in the main fountain...like magic. Overall the game is fun and decently balanced, but definitely more improvements could go into the quality of life and experience for the game. Just adding new content isn't enough if certain base elements are ignored. But that's just my opinion.

So excited! Thank you for your continued work on my favorite game!

I am so impressed with My Time at Portia, and your company. The communication is impeccable, and the ongoing fixes and updates are making the game better and better. I'm looking forward to definitely getting the next game!

We hope to be more compatible with more devices and platforms for the #NextMyTimeGame. That's one of the reasons we are thinking about doing a Kickstarter campaign. Thanks to all the great community feedback, We learned a lot from Portia, and 1 of the lessons is "to plan and build for other platforms from the begging" We also are trying our best to put in the game the things we know the players want. Right now we are making preparation for other platforms and devices but to do that well, we require more talent and resources. thanks for your support and for hanging in there with us!

Pingle Studio is handling the console updates and on schedule to be completed in the next six months. It's really not a simple thing; when we first started building the code for MTaP, we made a lot of rookie mistakes, and that makes the porting process quite tricky. We wish it were as simple as copy and paste, but it's truly been one of the most significant challenges for us to face in develping this game.
We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience it has caused everyone, but please rest assured knowing that we are exploring every avenue and option to solve it, but it's just not easy...We are not ignoring the issue, and we are not staying silent on it, hoping that you will stop bringing it up. We took a close look at sound and are working to make it much better for the #NextMyTimeGame. We hope to have a more immersive and dynamic experience provided by a better quality of sound and more harmony.
