Baby's hair is ugly?

Every picture ive seen of babies they have cutish hair, at least the girls do. But after waiting one week my baby has this weird colored on looking cap of hair that doesn't match the hair she was born with that well anymore. Will it keep growing or am i stuck with this ugly baby? Sure looks like when you shave off a barbies hair and i hate looking at her xD

Just a note: My hair was jet black at birth (I had a head full of hair, as did my eldest daughter), then turned redish around 1 year old, then was bright blonde from 2 to about 15-16, then started to darken until at about 30ish, it was a dark brown with red highlights.
