Carpet
I layed down a large carpet on the floor of one of my rooms, and now, I cannot retrieve it. There is no "F - take" prompt like with other pieces of furniture, It does not react to the vacuum cleaner, I hit it dozens of times with axe and pickaxe, and it is not listed under the home panel.

What can I do? I absolutely want that rug in a different room.

The tool that should fix it is the axe (the chainsaw also works, if you're later in the game). You need to hit it multiple times without moving. The hit box will change colour after the first hit (from green to blue, if I remember correctly), just keep hitting the rug.

As I already said, I did that. After the first hit, the colour changes from green to blue. The next hit, no matter wether I click again or hold the left mouse button, changes it back. I did that with and without moving the character, several times. The axe works on conductive flooring and carpets of normal size in my game, it is just that one large carpet covering the floor of a whole room that seems to be bugged.

I haven't experimented with that carpet. It looks like it behaves like flooring. Have you tried the vacuum cleaner from the Harbour store? It should be able to remove flooring.

JVC, would you please read my initial post and then try to help? It would be a much more efficient use of your and my time.

I am almost sure it is a bug, and I hope this report gets the attention of the dev team.

Hi Sigmar,

We've just checked that it's a floor, not a carpet. To change the pattern you can buy a new flooring in the A&G Construction store.
