Pinky and QQ new names?

Uh Gust and Nora calls Pinky and QQ quite strange names in the german version. I mean what does Fendudu and Coco even mean??

What the.. I'm playing the german version as well, and I've never noticed this before. oO This is kind of weird, considering the fact that you can read their "real" names above their heads all the time. oO

I also play with the German version and realized at least Fendudu being mentioned by Nora...but I had no clue, that Fendudu is Pinky...thought that's something, that is just missing in the game up to now. :D

They are direct translations from Chinese, I assume.
QQ is pronounced Coco in Chinese and Pinky is named Fendudu. You can hear them being called that when you turn on Chinese voices.
The person that made these translations probably made literal translations without taking the wetsernized names from the English translation into account.
