Controller glitch Xbox One controller

I have this odd and repeatable glitch where the game completely loses access to the Xbox one controller if any aspect of my Logitech G920 steering wheel is touched. If any pedal, button or shifter is touched, the only controls are mouse and keyboard. Restarting the game temporarily solves the issue.

You beautiful, beautiful person! You indirectly helped me fix my constant xbox one controller disconnection problem. Also have a G920 plugged in, which I must've kept knocking whilst I was playing... It also happened in Sonic Generations so I don't think it's just this game...
I hope you eventually figured it out because you really helped me with my problem. You could say it was... driving me insane.

That's an interesting issue! Thanks for figuring it out and bringing it up. I'd assume it's cuz Steam is detecting your G920 as the active controller, but I'm not sure. Does this happen in all your Steam games while your G920's plugged in?

Not like this. This game drops the Xbox controller as soon as it gets a signal off of something else.
Nearly all other games just ignore it as unmapped commands. Some games will let you map as many controllers inputs as you like. I enjoy mapping weapons to an H pattern shifter even if it is suboptimal.
