Sorry to hear that this is happening - would it be possible to see your system information so that we can try to help? To do this:
- Hold down the Windows Key and press R, the Run dialogue should appear > Type dxdiag in the available text field > Click OK
- Click Save All Information > Save the file DxDiag.txt to your Desktop so it is easy to find
- Open the .txt file, copy all the contents > Paste all the contents to a free text hosting service such as http://justpaste.it, http://textuploader.com or http://freetexthost.com

Thanks for that - It looks like your graphics card drivers are out of date. Let's try to update them and retest the game by following these steps:

Still cant see the game only hear it.
I got a black screen to display by pressing Alt + Enter that puts the game in window mode.
After that i adjustet the window until i got a visual of the game. But i need to set it just right or else the game wont run the animations.
So i can play the game now but i need to manually adjust the window of the game every time i open it and can only play in window mode... not fullscreen.
Can you please try to update your onboard graphics card as well directly via this link and retest?

I am not abel to do that. When i try i get this messages.
Something went wrong.
Your system has a driver that is locked to manufacturer specifications.
Try downloading the latest driver from the manufacturer's website to update.
I have an acer aspire laptop, but im not able to update anything through Acer Care Center either.
I tried updating the graphics card by going through device management.
I made windows do a chek online and it said that the onboard graphics card allready were using the best available driver for it.
The acer support said the same thing when i wrote to them. The system drivers that is available for my computer is the ones i can update through the Acer Care Center.
Thanks for confirming and for your patience. We noticed that your DPI settings is at 125% - let's put it to 100% and retest (you can revert back to your original settings if it does not work):

- Right-Click and select "Set Priority" and click on "High"
Power Options- Right-Click on your Windows key and click on Power Options

- Change your power plan to "High performance"
- Fully shutdown your PC (not just a restart)
- Turn on and retest
Please also try the following steps:1. Make sure you're not using any generic controller with My Time At Portia. If you are, then please unplug the controller.
2. Unplug any USB devices that you don't need to play the game, like webcams etc.
3. Open your antivirus software and make sure it doesn't block the game activity. You may also add Portia.exe as an exception in the antivirus settings.
4. Delete a file called InControlNative.dll from the directory:
Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\My Time At Portia\Portia_Data\Plugins
Get back to us when you can.

Had to set the priority back to normal in the task manager, because it made the game run extremly slow. just the start up were around 5 min and everything were running in slowmotion.
My power settings are already running at high preformance.
Have only a usb mouse connected.
Game is already added to my antivirus settings as an trusted program and will not be blocked.
deletede the file and restarted but no change.
I dont know if we will be able to solve this, but on the bright side I am abel to play the game in window mode. So i'm okay with this issue being closed for now.
I think it is more important that your team helps people that can't get their game to work at all.
Sincerely
Diana
Try "Borderless Gaming" (free on github)
This program helps to make most of games borderless full screen mode. Also it can move game window to any monitor.
I will be checking out the program. Thanks for the suggestion.
