Cannot get rid of ack as helper
I hired him last more than a month ago (I was in summer and now I'm in winter), the 'hire' option is appearing when I speak to him, I cannot upgrade him anymore, I removed Lara's model from my yard and I reduced my relationship with him (now we are stranger), but he comes to my yard every day to help me with the fertilizer, my horse and he picks the drops from the furnaces;
what I have to do? I want my spouse as helper; please help me

Hi goalpang,

Sorry to hear you are having an issue!

Can you ask your spouse to help with the social options?
Once the month you have paid Ack for runs out, he should leave if you do not pay again.
You can also use the workshop panel in your house for what things helpers will and will not do.

We hope this helps!

Team17 Support.

Thanks for the answer.
What do you mean for social options? I don't have any option about that on her (sonia, she helped me a lot before ack, because she's my wife);
About ack, yeah I thought so, but he's always here. I would never have hired him if I knew. Thanks again (:

Hey goalpang,

That's no problem then.

Can you open your workshop license and untick the boxes for Ack/helper and then see if your spouse helps the next day?
He should then stop any chores he was doing.

We hope this helps.

Team17 Support.

If I tick every boxes, noone helps me, correctly; if I untick them the next day, ack comes back

Hi goalpang,

You may have to wait until the month that you hired Ack for is over.
Then just do not hire him again.

If you untick and wait until the next day, does Ack stop and your spouse start helping?

Team17 Support.

Hey goalpang,

Thanks for your reply.

Do you have the Lara model built in your workshop?
If so, he will come back to look at this.
You can donate this to the museum, however, and with all of his boxes unticked for helping, he will not come back.

If you do this and he still comes back, let us know and we will pass it on to the team for further investigation.

Team17 Support.

Hi goalpang,

Very strange. He should not carry on working there if you have unticked the boxes, not hired him again, and even moved the statue.

We'll pass this on for you for further investigation.

Thank you for your report and patience.

Team17 Support.
