My Time At Portia stuck on "Sharks in the Sky!"

I have tried to repair the installation through steam already and it is not working. I go into the elevator and activate it and once you go back out, the door that you came through is closed and you can't leave. There is nowhere to go and I can't move forward. The only other discussion about this is by one person and nobody seems to be paying attention so I'm adding my voice!

Please fix, this seems to be a problem with the update.

You don't need the same elevator twice in that mission. If I remember correctly. the path in the circular room with the elevator also has a path up and down next to the outer wall. I found it confusing myself, but ran until I saw a group of enemies and took it from there. Btw: I played it on patch 3 a few days ago.

And btw, what is really annoying: the map is misleading. In my game, the area was bigger than shown on the map.

The door out of that circular room is closed. Ive run in circles around the elevator searching for another exit and there does not appear to be one.

Once I go in the room and activate the elevator, I cannot get back out.

Ah ok, I misread completely, sorry. There are two types of elevator in that mission; I thought you were referring to the thing in the middle of the open circular room. There is also a room where the entire room works as a closed elevator going down. The exit from that one is the door your entered it from.

I have the same problem playing on windows 7. I logged on my daughter computer which has windows 8.1 and I was able to complete the mission.

I actually watched a YouTube video of how this quest is supposed to work to verify that I'm not missing something and I'm not. That door should be open. It was open in the video, but for me it's definitely not. I really hope they fix this because I can't progress until they do. Also, it's kind of intense battling through the entire dungeon only to be stuck again and again. I dread running it after every fix only to find out that it was a waste of a half hour.

Also, how did you play your save file on you daughter's computer? I'm running windows 10.

I still have same problem. It seems like the update didn't work on windows 7. On my daughter computer she has windows 8.1 and I log her off of steam and I log on it. And I'm able to play my save games.

Sharks in the Sky mission ~ Elevator Bug

After I fight Ursula alone and I use the elevator in the next room my game breaks and the camera starts spinning around and I can't exit the room. I tried verifying my files already

I'm stuck in the room after the second elevator, character floating outside the map.

I did the verifying the integrity of the game thing I saw on another post. I also waited several in game days, restarted my load, etc and nothing is working.

Are we going to get a fix for this? It seems like a lot of us are having this problem and nothing is being done to solve it. It's a game breaking problem in the main story you'd think you'd want to fix this problem

Having the identical problem. That door is closed and dark. No entrance. Please note that the first time I had it. I quit completely and then started a totally new game only to run right smack ndab into it again. Not fair!!!
