Can't build Comprehensive Grinder?

I have all the materials needed to build the Comprehensive Grinder but when I try to incorporate the normal Grinder into it, nothing happens. No error messages, no crashes, it simply doesn't let me use the thing to build! Do I need to build a new one? Do I need to exhaust all the fuel from it before I use it?

Are you just moving it from where you have it to the building area? Or did you actually put it in your inventory first and then try to put it in the building area?

If you're just picking it up from your workshop it won't work since it's not technically in your inventory. It has to be in your inventory, pick it up and press 'R' I believe, and then try setting in the building area.

If you are getting it from your actual inventory then I don't know what it could be.
