Petra wants a grinding saw to research disks
I gave Petra 10 data disks to research. After not getting any mail for a few days I talked to her about research and she says a grinding cutter would help speed up research but I can't make one until I get the research done for it. I never had this conversation from her before in other playthroughs either.

I got the research results for the grinding cutter the next morning after she told me that.
