Sisal seeds grows read-made linen?

I planted a bunch of Sisal seeds because it says they grow plant fiber. I now have close to 600... linen. Linen is useless! I wanted plant fibers :( The description on these linen items says "a type of plant fiber..." so I'm hoping it's a bug. It's also annoying that Sisal seeds only grow in one month of the year, if I have to spend silicon chips on them they should be all season seeds like rainbow flowers.
