Haunted Cave Date Bug

Twice now I've gone on dates in the haunted caves wherein i get hit by a ghost, and the game just stops working. You can't go to the menu, you cant exit, you cant move, you really cant do anything. This is especially painful because you can only safe when you sleep, and usually you go on dates at night after a full hour of play time...

I dont think it matters which girl you take as it happeed once with Sam, and once with Ginger. Both times it seems to have happened right after I was stunned by a ghost, while my partner was caught by the hand. The game doesnt crash, it just becomes non-responsive, the music plays, ghosts continue to move around, you just cant interact with the game any further.

There seem to be a few spots like this on that map that cause the UI to freeze up (also some invisible walls in strange places), the game is still running but you can't do anything other than alt-F4/end task to exit the game.

Yes thats exactly it! I think both times was right before the first big cavern after the bats.

But both times I was just stunned... So I assumed thats why it soft crashed.

Hi. I was on a date with Albert and the same thing happened. I had just moved into the first part of the cave and my character stopped. I couldn't access anything with my mouse or keyboard. Albert and the ghosts were moving around, but my character was stuck. I had to force it closed and will now restart the day.

Hi. Just an update for anyone interested that this bug is still happening. I went on a date into the haunted cave yesterday and the UI disappeared and I couldn't control my character anymore. I'm looking forward to this being fixed because I'm getting a bit bored of the other date activities, and otherwise I'm really loving this game!

Like LaughingLee i also went on a date in the haunted cave, grabbed the scare soaker and the game immediately becomes impossible to access. i just stand there and my date walks around. I play this game for relaxation, not annoyance.

Honestly I think it has something to do with the stun effect from the ghosts. Frankly I think it would be better to just ditch the effect, and let fans enjoy the caves. Really the caves are super cool, and would be such a fun date, but it's alot to ask to lose a whole day's progress, especially since so much of that progress is remembering how you interacted with really interesting NPCs, that's hard to recreate. My two cents.
