Tody issue (Spoilers)

Hi,

In my game I have fully completed the harbour, but I missed the meetings to discuss it. As a result (possibly?) Tody is still in prison many many ingame weeks later. I've progressed into the Marsh at this point and he's still in prison.

Is this a bug? Or does something happen to prompt his release and it's just taking a really long time?

This should probably be marked as a spoiler. I know the game has been out for a bit, but there may still be people who didn't know that particular piece of info, like myself

Oh that's actually a really good point but I don't actually know how to do that. I'll go try and find out.

Gale's fireside meeting after the event at the harbour mentions Tody and what they will do to move forward. Don't know if things can have messed up a bit for you if you didn't attend the fireside meeting. I think Gale also mentions Tody when you speak to him in the following days.

I actually did attend the Fireside meeting where Gale says he will be lenient and take into account that no-one was hurt. I didn't receive any letter or attend any meeting where it was announced that the harbour was open though (after doing the ruin dive with Mali). I just found that a few days later the NPCs were all talking about the harbour and the island and I could suddenly take the boat. I don't know if that's related.

Update: I went to the Corps and he was no longer in there, but I've no idea when, why, or how he was released. There was no letter or meeting about it, and I haven't seen him around town so I have no idea.
