Because developers did not implement cheat codes? They don't magically appear from thin air you know. Someone has to code them into the game.

If you need sapphire and crystal, you can just buy and grow crystal trees.

the wait is really long and im past the 15 days on the tree and then it added another 7 days 3 week in game days is over the top for that tree

Gotta say, barely any of the singleplayer/offline games I've played have had built-in cheat codes. Sure, some do. But I wouldn't expect it. /shrug

I plant 8 crystal trees early in the game. You'll be fine for sapphires and swimming in crystals - I end up selling more than I could ever use.

Just fish, sell when market is up. Breed kings and you won't even be able to sell them all in a day and just be ROLLING in gols.

1. Get good at the game. No need cheats.
2. There are mods you can install at Nexus. Google how if you don't know already. Some of the mods are cheat mods.

But you might only cheat yourself! Certain things line up with times of the year, or some missions/character stuff need done before others - some things best not done before certain times. If you just do everything Season 1, you might miss out on some things down the road.

What's the point of even playing the game if you just cheat everything in? Plant two crystal trees in the first couple of months and you'll have all the sapphire and crystal you need by the end of the game.

It's a resource management game. If you don't manage your resources, there's no point in even playing it.
