Fish Porridge
I still got the 'Dawa's fish quest' as i can't figure out how to make it. Google says to either buy it on rainy days in town or make it with the cooking set. Haven't seen rain in ages, and i have the cooking set.

But my cooking set only has 2 recipes ( Obtained from Django ), Seafood paella and Delicious roasted ribs. Django won't give me any other recipe other than these two, trust me i've tried for 18 days straight.

How the flying f*ck do i get the recipe for fish porridge?

Any help is appreciated:ily:

You're welcome.

In case you didn't know, you don't have to have a recipe to cook.

Thx first and foremost, but i cant put ingredients in anywhere.

I open the cooking set and am presented with a screen that lets me cook 2 recipes. Once i click any of these i see multiple combinations of making it. Once i click any of these ( even with those ingredients in my hotbar and the ones needed for the porridge ) nothing happens. It doesnt cook anything or goes into the 'mini game' i believe that is cooking ( which i've never seen before ). No hotkeys are presented in the screen to do any other action other than favorite it.

I'm just baffled i haven't been able to figure this out for over a week now. Tried to watch some yt videos but they were outdated i guess??

Thx again tho.

You have to put the ingredients in directly. Put the items you need in your hotkey bar and add them to the cooking pot. The recipe is 1 Fish, 1 Random Seasoning, and 1 Random Ingredient. So for example, put 1 Catfish, 1 Salt, and 1 Egg in your hotkey bar and add the ingredients into the Cooking Set.

I was confused by this at first and really dislike cooking in this game because of this. It gets incredibly tedious when you want to make multiple of the same dishes for buffs and such.

once you make/learn from django recipes you can use Acks cook function, it has 2 parts, special recipes only he can make, or any recipe youve unlocked. It will draw ingredients from your storages and its instant

Ah yeah, I forgot about Ack, but he does take awhile to get. Once you get friendship up enough, you can hire him for 1200 Gols a month. By the time I actually hired him, I already had beaten the main part of the game and beat the end game ruin though lol

Does Django only has these two recipes? Cuz it don't matter how many days i talk with him to get recipes, i always get the same two.

Django should have more recepies - the problem is that he insists on selling every single variant of it seperately. That means if it is a fish dish, there are like 50 or so combos for a single one because he will teach you the same recepy with every different sort of fish and all variations of spices and vegetables.

It really is faster to just cook all the easier recepies from the cooking guide and have Django fill in the more exotic variants.
