unreachable Chests

most of the chests ive seen around are unreachable being up on walls or on an island and invisible walls blocking my way to them is it possible to get these chests if not why are they in the game

I've managed to get a few in the city but the one on the wall (facing portia gate - on the left) is hard to get to ... i've jumped onto balconies and umbrellas for other ones with my horse i think it was ....

I tink you get a boat some where in the game. And a flying machine. Not 100 % sure if it's true.

You'll get a flyin mount after you finish the story. Pointless chest though, there're nothing really good in 'em.

LOL, why would they put chests in a game you cant actually get?

Hello, actually those chests are reachable, but I cannot tell you the way how to get these chests for avoiding spoiler, so have a try to find out how to get them.

The one over the gate you can get to. It's tricky, and the games really clunky sense of where you are, how you move and what you can grab or move onto works against you big time.

There's a lot of little ledges and such you can climb on from the Tree Farm side of the gate and you can climb all over Django's place if you realize umbrellas can hold your weight.

I waited an eternity to get the one on the island... Sadly it was like most chests in the game. Really helpful if you're a month in but not really a big deal any other time.

Now I only bother with the obvious ones and am close to not bothering with the hidden rooms in mines. They just aren't worth the time once you figure out how to make cash. Even the ones on the far side of the world after you build the last set of bridges late game have little of worth in them.

I find that sad. Be nice if these had nice stuff in them. Like all those parts for relics I never seem to find or rare items only found in chests to decorate the house.

Yeah the abandoned rooms are worthless ... i don't bother going into them anymore ... i wish the boxes in the desert abandoned mine and the marsh ruin had carbon fibre in them ... i hate going to ingalls mine, that mine is a mess to say the least and its a headache of a puzzle to get anywhere in there.

You ever pay the pigs to do the carbon fiber levels..?? I use them all the time for stuff I can't be bothered with. Might as well spend all the cash on something. Giving back to the community and all that some such.

Late game there's another spot for CF. It's a little grindy but it's better than Ingalls...

For the one on the island, I actually managed to get it before the spoiler the dev mentioned. If you race on a white horse and jump, then click to jump off the horse just before you fall into the water, you'll land on the island and the horse will just wander out of the water behind you. You can get the chest, then do the same to get back to the main land. (If all else fails, do it close to 3 am when you'll automatically fall asleep so you aren't stuck out there all day if you can't get back.)
