My first marriage was to Gust. I was hoping that when we got married he would tone down his over bearing love for his sister JUST.A.SINGLE.NOTCH but no...us getting married had no affect on his following her around everywhere and sleeping with her in the grass by the water at 1 AM! He wasn't even that nice to me during the marriage, he would wake up and hate on the wallpaper and change it like 3 times a week (never allowing me to get mine back!!) and sometimes throw money my way.
After divorce I decided to go for Arlo. My hopes were that his personality would shine through after marriage at least better than Gust's but nope. Still essentially a stranger that just stays in my house sometimes lol.
Like can we at leassstt get date options or SOMETHING different after marriage? And maybe even have to build things for the ceremony or choose a dress? It was like a wake up, 8 sec cut scene and done kinda deal. *shrug*
My thing is, you can add all the new dungeons, weapons, and events you want but if at the base of the game the characters are still inpersonable and bland like when you've accomplished everything no one will want to stick around.
1. She has a unique disease and rather than let Russo or someone else watch her, Gust feels compelled to protect her himself
2. This is just great rule 34 material waiting to happen
Oh no.
I'd like to see more care given to spouses. Different clothes, added quests. Dialogue changes.
Add a marriage gauge that measures the happiness of your spouse. Have them request things. Reasonable and unreasonable. Certain spouses might be crazy difficult to keep happy. Add some achievements.
Congratulations ! You got the "Angry Spouse" achievement !
That might be too much like RL . :P
That’d just turn the game’s marriage system into Fable’s: where people didn’t love you for who you are, but what you owned and how rich you were.
“Darling, I demand you get me 5,000 leather pouches or else you’re a terrible spouse and I’ll hate you forever.”
Yeah, no problem - here’s those leather pouches you wanted” *hands divorce papers*
Its for the RL coherence :D
Unfortunate glitch, but may I recommend you get footage next time and add this to the background? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=NCsD-mEUB0c
Perhaps slowly zoom into her face and those lifeless eyes
