Hair styles

i love love love the game so far and being able to change my hair to any color i would like to see diffrent hair styles to pick from like a ponitail or braids maybe :) and new clothing to get from the clothing maker

If I am not mistaken I think you get that option once you help the colorblind barber out with color blindless glasses that help him see colors again.

I find it frustrating that the hairstyles are gender locked. I like my men long haired, and find myself wanting to use some of the 'girl' styles when making my boy character. Why not give the player to option to use any of the styles coded?

well im at the point were ther are more hair its pigtails a bob a short style or a long style i ment like single poni or braids like one long braid in the back or a french brade
maybe he gets more over time like unlocking them but idk i have yet to find out ill let ya know :)

agreed @Nuria it would make characters more personal as even irl some guys chose to have long hair and some ladies chose to have shorter hair :D

I think they’ll probably add more in the future. I think a cool way would be us finding old style magazines or something in the ruins. Something like that. Where we can like take them to Sanwa and he’ll learn the style after a couple of days. Or even take it to the Research Center for them to figure it out (because I assume if it’s a magazine it would be pretty worn out) and THEN take it to Sanwa.

I also agree that hairstyles shouldn’t be gender locked. I like the bowl cut that the “boy hairs” has, but I can’t use it ahhhh.

For the provided hairstyles though, there’s clipping issues here and there (especially when you want the hair longer), but the clipping on the ponytail is REALLY BAD imo. Like, the ponytail just falls through the whole head.

i just notised the poni and when its short it looks like a messy bun >0< but i agree with the finding the styles would give me more to look foward too when diggin in the mines or maybe even getting a hairstyle unlocked when befriending some of the towns people would be neat too

Seconded ! In a time where man buns and pixie cuts are the trendiest hairstyle, I think these looks are way too gender formatted, same goes for the clothes

Thirded. Although it'd be more work to make the hairstyles, let alone clothes, work on both models, I'd love to see the ability to wear anything or have any hairstyle become possible. Simple things we take for granted irl, like girls who don't want to wear skirts being able to wear pants all the time, would become possible if they added this feature.

I will love to see more hairstyles aswell . I think we still have very few, its just not enough.
