The inside is just cramped with boxes and bonus items; the only really accessible stuff is the bed, the massage chair, and two fishtanks (along with a chest next to them).
You got the Pumpkin Room *-* Wish I could furnish that, too! But I'm not married to Emily. :<
It's completely empty, though. Never saw much of use of doing anything with the interior.
My houses have been... hmm... tragic furniture warehouses for stats and dye experimentation, so I'll not share them just yet 😂
As for the pumpkin house, maybe you could try adding some lighting items[mytimeatportia.fandom.com] and make a tiny garden inside?
You kept some TREES!! All these pictures I see of Portia everyone mostly mows the housing area down. I get why of course, but the place looks like a growing former parking lot... which of course it may have actually been if we look at all the ruin buildings surrounding it. A multistory parking lot even... hehe
Anyways, I always keep the trees and work around them. Which means lots of reloads if I get the house foot print "off" since once a piece of landt is in the property lines the trees don't grow back.
Going to the next house level I'm going to have to move it of course because it won't fit in the area below:

Which is why on this run I might not upgrade. I do like putting the apple trees around it and the Stables because they are nice and bushy green. They also look great off the balcony with the larger trees.
But I just got the upgrade and everything is moving around right now in the above picture.
Haha, yes, and keeping the trees is hard, I agree. I have even put off upgrading my house to the highest level because the new footprint would eliminate a Rubber Fruit Tree I have grown fond of. I know exactly what you mean. I have even waited for two weeks once, hoping a small tree by the stables would come back after I burried it under a piece of fence by mistake. So I feel your pain of reloading for that! I'm glad someone else does that, haha
Thank you - I agree, I found that using rugs really helps in creating sitting areas or making the kitchen area feel like a unit, and of course the landrun mat is an allusion to our favorite knight's restaurant!

Your yard is so structured! I have had a hard time decorating the yard, wanting to find a balance between letting it grow freely but also structuring it in some way that makes sense. The house is much easier to decorate, so I always marvel at pictures of tidy-looking yards.
I really like this pic! You've got your own little carnival area. It looks really great at night :D
Thanks a lot! I really like how the game looks completely different at night, especially when you have lots of light sources in your yard.
