Nora question

I just started my first playthrough and I reached the point where Arlo asked me about Nora. If I suggest him to go for it, would I be able to pursue Nora and steal her from him? Would there be relationship penalties?

Albert won't marry Nora. You can safely encourage Albert to pursue anyone BUT Sonia, and he won't care if you date or marry someone that interested him.

Sonia's the exception, because he will in fact marry Sonia if you pursue that quest line. Honestly, he's welcome to her. Her voice, to use her phrase, is TOTALLY annoying.

If you are serious about Nora, than no, I wouldn't make it any harder than it needs to be. Select the best answer for Arlo to understand, they are not suited for each other. In truth, imho, they are not.

If you chose your option, I believe you may still court & marry Nora. Once you marry Nora, she should stop seeing Arlo & visa versa.

Arlo pursuing Nora doesn’t making courting Nora harder. The game doesn’t model relationships to that degree of sophistication.
