Mysterious man is nowhere to be found

Hey guys, right now I'm on a certain quest involving buying a Wedding ring from the Mysterious Man. I was waiting all month until 27th but the guy didn't come to Portia as usual. He doesn't even appear on the map and certainly he's not wandering around because I looked for him the entire day.

Went to sleep thinking it might be a weird bug, but on Sunday 28th the same thing happens. He's just not there.

So is it normal? My mission will end today, is there any other way to find this ring in the game?

He usually walks from the harbour in the morning up past your house to the Plaza's and wait in each area all day. He has a large backpack and wears a mask.

You may have to enable all markers on the map icon settings, in the map menu.

Oh, I mean, I'm aware of that. This is the first time he doesn't appear at all on the designated days like past months. I'm just curious if my mission is bugged or something and if there's anything I can do about it.

He is the only person to sell it, seems like a bug to me. Not one I have ever come across before. You might have to report it in the bugs section.

You could try verifying the game and reloading the save for the 27th.

That sounds like a bug. AFAIK he's always supposed to appear on those two days. If I run out of the door first thing and grab a Dee-Dee to the harbour, it arrives within a few steps from him.
