Really? I liked Gust. Married him twice (2nd time play through no kids.)

I have only *one* "Say it isn't so!" moment about marrying Gust. The 2nd child... I about had a heart attack when I picked up my new baby boy (1st child was a girl).

HE LOOKED LIKE GALE!!!! I'm staring at infant GALE. I almost dropped him on the dog! This isn't happening?!

I honestly don't get why people like Gust. He's so arrogant and aloof. Plus there's the unhealthy jealousy and control issues when it comes to his family.

I agree. plus he generally isnt attractive to me. (le gay boi) so yeah. just my opinion though not a fact :p

I married Gust in a play through for the perks and he is a weird character. He has a surprising caring and romantic streak, but then again, after you are married he asks you on dates to the desert and at the end he is all "k, bye" and just WALKS OFF. In real life I would tell any friend of mine to run from what seems to be an emotionally manipulative relationship.

In another I married Mint because so many people raved about him, but then felt skeevy because he seems very emotionally child-like (coming from an older person). I sorta abandoned that play through after the wedding because of it.

I've been romancing Arlo in my current play through for the perks, but I have to say, I'm starting to believe the best marriage candidates are Xu, Phyllis, Alice, Sam and Remington. Everyone else has a major flaw or just seems really immature/one-note.

Or maybe I am just too old for this game, lol.

You know I was curious about this statement and I had a game that hadn't gotten all the way to marrying Arlo and another game that hadn't chosen someone yet so I went back cause I didn't remember anything like that about Gust.

Arlo and Gust do the same thing on a walk in the desert (just one example.) Instead of the space box bar, chat bubble appears above their heads and it says roughly, "You have to get back to work I know and so do I. So see ya!"

If you go for the photo shoot they both do the "lemme see lemme see" good memories bit in the box and after the box goes the "You have to get back to work and so do I, etc." chat bubble.

So it's just a presentation they didn't box in response. Dunno if you would actually call it a bug.

As far as personal Gust is pretty normal for a introvert. That he's direct and shy about expression didn't bother me. Once he is romancing.. really? Just random fireworks night? Now that's awesome :D

Ginger saying her mother died on her birthday and so it's no day for a celebration bothered me a lot. She really shouldn't look at it like that but you can't change someone missing their mother.
