There are repeatable missions in the game. Speaking of Emily, "Chicken Run" and "The Pumpkin Princess" (the mini mission where you need to fertilize the growing Pumpkin Princess) both repeat quite often.
But AFAIK the mission where Emily starts growing the Pumpkin Princess is a one-time event and she does not attempt to grow another in subsequent years. So if you didn't complete it in a way that unlocks the alternative part, that alternative part will never happen.
Sadly she has to lose the first Autumn Festival for the mission to become available, so it would take a year and a half to get to that second Festival. Although, if you're only going for the event, it wouldn't take very long at all, you could just sleep through most of the game, only focusing on Emily's relationship and ignoring almost everything else.
Thanks! That's what I plan on doing. I have to do the game over again because I missed a Dee-Dee Stop anyway so I'll just sleep through anything that isn't relevant to those two achievements.
