That's assuming it's the same game in both cases, of course.
"Mobile games" never kicked off for me, and I certainly wouldn't want to move anything from the PC to the mobile gadget. Things might be different for you, of course -- with only three games (on Steam anyway) in total, your mileage might not be similar at all.
But yeah, as Kargor said, "mobile games never kicked off for me". Except the game types I mentioned. I prefer "real computers". You might call me a PC snob, I don't mind. I won't even rely solely on a laptop for games. I cringe every time someone says "gaming laptop". If they like it, good for them. I won't play any of my "proper" games on anything but a PC. I should probably join the PC Master Race community.
Like previous posters said: do you want small screen, or big screen. Not to mention a proper mouse/keyboard. Or controller if that's your thing.
But I will let you know one thing: This game has combat in it, and it is barely functional, playing with a controller at 60 fps. It is tedious, frustrating and my least fav part of the game. So you imagine that with touch controls XD
I will actually tell you another thing, idk if it'll be different on mobile, but your game will only save when you go to bed, thus ending the current game day.
So if you get tired, or suddenly need to stop for whatever reason, you have to either lose progress, or cut the day short. Or you can pause the game until later, which is why I am telling you, how long will you be able to pause on your phone? Maybe the battery level is low idk...
Just two things to consider :)
Otherwise I am enjoying the game, and I recommend it. And I don't usually play such games.
Stardew Valley's mobile port saves on exit and when you sleep, so if you have to close in the middle of the day you can resume where you left off. I would hope that MTaP has the same consideration. SDV also added features to simplify combat for mobile.
I heard they made it so you can save any time in Sandrock so that is something.
Any chance of rolling the save anytime into the PC version of MTaP? :)
