Before Autumn Festival update my horse was always happy without food. Now he is angry and has a 30% hunger level. I'll wait and see what happens, if it get worse I feed him with pumpkin, so thanks for the info.

You could also feed them wheat.

Yes horses and llamas have different favorite foods, for instance the horse gets happier by being fed pumpkin, wheat, lettuce and cumin, llamas get happier (depending on which llama if cotton or color) by being fed apples, aroma apples and lettuce, however there are standard food for mounts and barn or coop animals like apricot and plant fiber.

Weirdly enough I already tried Apricots, but my horse´s happiness decreased regardless. Also, seriously? Pumpkins? I mean, which horse likes Pumpkins more then Apples in real life?
