Demo to full game - What's the difference?
Hey everyone!

We've had a lot of people ask what's different in the full game compared to the free demo currently available on the Steam store page.

Here's a brief overview:

  • Players can take limited commissions from the guild. After they finish the commission, they'll still get a reward, but they won't be able to complete as many commissions as in the full game.
  • Players can cut down trees, explore the Abandoned Ruins (for mining), and explore the Hazardous Ruins (to fight with monsters). There are more ruins and dungeons in the full game.
  • Players can craft and assemble limited items. In the full game - players can upgrade their machines and unlock many more items to craft.
  • Players can interact with NPCs and build relationships, but cannot confess their love or propose marriage. These options, and other interactions, are only available in the full game.
  • Players can experience the Day of the Bright Sun on 19th January (in the game's calendar). More holidays will be available in the full game (including Winter Solstice, for example)
  • Players can play several mini-games in the Round Table restaurant, but more games are available in the full game

On top of these features, in the full game, players can plant crops, keep and raise animals, rent or buy a horse and go riding, unlock the camera and the in-game photography features (including compiling a photo album), recover and exhibit relics at the museum, and much more!

Is it ok to assume that if my system can run the demo that it should be able to run the full game?

As I understand it: to confess love, you must buy the heart knot from Alice's flower shop, and present it during a (play) date.

To propose marriage, you must also buy a wedding ring from the Mysterious Salesman. He walks from Portia Harbour to Peach Plaza to Central Plaza every 27th and 28th in each month.

Hey fleporepen,

The demo and game are currently only available for PC. We'll be releasing a Mac version later this year.

Keybinding is available in the options menu of the full game.

The demo is based on a previous build where only limited keybinding was available - this is in the options menu under 'input'

I won't be buying then, sorry. I can't try the demo to any degree as I can't use WASD so any none keybinding demo is no good :(

I know this gets asked a lot, but I've seen different answers in different places. If I have the most recent demo, like from a couple days ago, is there any way at all for that save to transfer to the EA game? I really don't want to start from scratch again, especially if it's still the incomplete version.

Don't waste time in the free demo, because those saves cannot be carried over into the full game.

However, in the full game, the developers have made it a priority to ensure that the content updates don't break saves.

In the full game, when you run out of main story content, you get a letter from the mayor, that tells that more story content is coming in the next update. And after the content update is released, the story content is automatically unlocked, and you can continue playing the new missions.

So the one on steam atm is Demo version not full version? Where can I get the full version? Or still under update?
