Suggestion: More Character Customization

Just as the title says.

Would be nice to be able to select specific eyes, noses, mouths, overall face shapes. Would be cool to have eyebrow "styles" as well- you could do panda brows, or the one where you have like a missing line that makes it look all edgy and cool.

All hair unisex. Maybe I want my male character to have that blunt haircut girls can have. Maybe I want a female with a dreadlock ponytail.

More hair with separate sliders for the fringe. Additionally, can I get a braid like Nora? Pleeeaase?

Also, please increase the range of sliders. If I lower my character's eye height, the brows dont follow down as far as they should.

Thanks for your suggestions for character customisation. We've just added a feature to the barber shop where you can change your lip colour, so I will pass these points on to the dev team for future consideration :)

I would love to see more hairstyles particularly.

And shape of body, pls. skinny legs after running around you think you have muslces. Yeah I like change hair style. and when you change color hair, my eyebrows are purple, come on pls, I usually don't ask much.


I not sure when I shared back in April;, if you had color to change skin, being out in the sun all day running around, with commission, I would like a tan, if possible

It doesn't show on mine, if your hair is blue your brows are blue, etc.. and there is no lip color.

Adding in my support/request for unisex hair too! =) I'd love for my avatar to have hair as ridiculously long as mine, but the style that comes the closest is locked to the girl avatars only.

Really really seconding the unisex hair thing. One of my pet peeves are customizations that really limit your looks based on your gender.

What about replacing the main character by two characters (bro and sis, 2 bro, 2 sis). The player could switch between them, they 'd have separate skill trees, the one not in control of the player would act as a helper or could be asked to go gathering a type of ressource (lumbering, quarrying, fishing, etc...), and they could go together for clearing/farming dungeons.

What? No no too much over thinking you can already ask your wife/husband to help out so this is just super redundent. Plus we get a robot helper, I mean we don't need siblings in our house for one we are what 18 19 means our siblings would be grown adults with thier own lives, or teenagers who need to go to school durring weekdays. And as some one who lives with family craming people into that crappy starter workshop just no, its bad idea I mean you siblings would have to be horribly hurt up and like your parents died in an accident to send them to your workshop you inherted from your grandpa...

=I think recommendations for other mechanics would belong better in a different thread so that it has better visibility to the devs. This one is mainly aimed at your character's customization and increasing the number of options available in already introduced mechanics.

I agree on the facial hair as well. Some of the marriage candidates do not strike me as late teens, either, such as Django, Paulie, and any of the Hulu brothers. Lucy, Phyllis, and Merlin also seem like they're at least a few years older than 20. I actually pegged Lucy as being in mid-30's. Don't get me wrong- I don't have a problem with age gaps at all. I think it does lend itself to a bit more realism (where not 50% of the towns population is just 20 years old for... reasons).
Now it could just be that Lee is talking down to the character in a sense (like calling any person you disagree with on the internet 13), but still. Would be nice to give a male character a slightly more mature appearance.

At least their other game you didn't feel like a kid unless you made them look like that. But that is only real thing that urks me. Last one I took a guy and greyed him up a bit went from looking like 20 year old at start to distinguished 40 year old, older then me in real life but I liked it. In this I can't really seem to do anything to age the player...

I mean just facial hair will do it, well help I mean at 16 I had facial hair of an adult people use to think i was in my 20s when I went to freinds houses for first time, was pretty damn funny. Especially since I dated a 17 year old half asian petite, oh people thought I was like 22 dating a 14 year old but she was older then me, and I was bearly old enough to drive lol

-A few darker skintones would be great.
Hairstyles:
- As others have suggested, unisex hairstyles;
-curlier hairs and ethnic hairstyles;
Facial Features:
-Make available similar facial features like the Portia towns people.
-Rounder noses, wider noses, fuller lips (Remington and Mr. Musa).

These are all things I would love to see as well.

I noticed the Portia wiki includes the race of characters under the description: human.

I assume this is just done for data purposes but it makes me think perhaps there’s going to be more races in Portia, lol.

If so, I’d love to be an elf, lol
