At present the fertilizer really isn't worth buying or making it. None of the players who have been playing for a while use it as it really doesn't make that much difference to your crops at the moment. You don't need it for them grow. I've personally got a huge farm and never use it.

The farming side will get an overall before release and maybe then it will be worthwile but at the moment my advice is definately don't bother with the fertilizer.

Collecting by hunting can make a person tired easily, which hurts game fun.
My lesser material is easier to collect and is also a common fertilizer material.

Oh you dont need fertiliser? I have been wasting too much time getting fertiliser for my plants daily

You can buy it when prices are low at Sophies but even then it's not really worth the cost in my opinion. It's certainly not worth making due to the Mucus. I just don't bother with it at all.

I usually buy the fertilizer, not sure if it is just me but if my plant goes all down to the red face it stops growing so it's sorta of something needed o.O; not sure though if it is just me doing it wrong, either way with the number of ironwood planks needed it's not worth the trouble of making my own, simpler just buying it

They don't stop growing, like I said I never use it. Everything still takes the time it says on the packet to grow. Most of the players who have been playing for a while never use it.

Nitre, which grows from the trees bought from the church has the description "White minerals, can be used in fertilizer as well as making gunpowder.", so I am hoping they add in an easy recipe to make fertilizer from it. It'd be nice to supplement our farming with farming.

I think they should just replace the mucus with nitre it maske more sense in the recipe.

Main issue with fertilizer is it use mucus which is already tedious to get in quantity and also used by way too many crafting...

We need more way to get mucus. Mobs droping it more reliably and in bigger quantity, recipe in the workshop or blender (or any other crafting tool) to turn another common material into mucus.

Animal feces arent too hard to gather, but they're widely spread accross the map and also you can only get a limited quantity per day.

Just use more planters and grow more plant rather than trying to fertilize them to get a better recolt.

This should be a thing. It makes way more sense and gives those ugly butt trees another chance at staying in my yard.

They need to make Fertilizer more accessible if they want anyone to use it. Otherwise it's just a lot of wasted time on their part doing all the game assets for something that costs you way too much time use. When you throw in that Farming isn't one of the more profitable activities your looking at a lot of cobwebs on assets once people understand the colossal amount of time or G they're wasting on it.

If it used Nitre I'd be much more inclined to use it.

Yep, like I said just don't bother using fertiliser at all it's simply not worth it at the moment.

Getting enoug fertilizer has also been annoying me for quite a while now and I agree they need to make an easier fertilizer recipe. I mean there has to be an incentive to go for all that church fertilizer equipment... To be honest haven't much compared results with and without fertilizer much but guess I will give it a go since its annoying in current balance atleast
