Finding small silicon chip's

i need some to progress for the lift among other things. I know they are in abandoned ruins 2.

I HAVE SPENT 3 WEEKS TO FIND THE THREE I NEED. I HAVE ONE. (found in the 3rd day of grinding so it has been about 18 days spending almost every day in the mine)

i must have opened 30+ boxes and i just do not get them.

It's sometimes easier to find items in the hazardous ruins. Try going to the sewage plant instead (if it's unlocked).

You can purchase them at the Research Center in exchange for disks.

Unfortunately, they can't be purchased at the Research Center. You're probably thinking of the Silicone Chipset which is green. The Small Silicone Chips, which are the little black ones, are only found in ruins.

yeah not quite at the plant yet i do not think, i have the area in it that is open if that counts to it opening, i thought it opens when the lift is complete

I have like 27 of them, all found in the second abandoned ruins I think. Look at sewage plant if you can't find it there.

personaly i dont bother gather most of the materials myself
i just go to Corps HQ and order them to do sweep insted of me, you can increse ammount of times (up to 3x)?wich increses quantity, amount of days(up to 7x) wich decreses/increases price and then just wait for it in mailbox
well f you need some immidietaly its best to jump in yourself,
also only levels you cleared are avaible for request resource gathering
they can also bring you resources faster than requestd time, its basicly same as commision for NPCs

actually early on it is not available yet so yeah. anyways getting ready to get the hazardous ruin unlocked which can be hard. Oops I just realised this discussion was 1 year old sorry.
