But we'll still be starting from scratch probably. It feels more spin-off than sequel.
We are waist deep into the Sandrock project. We will get a significant graphical upgrade from Portia, it's also much more optimized (I'm typing this while looking at a recent render test). It's got a very big single player campaign with hopefully a good multiplayer co-op mode. Characters from Portia will show up. This is more of a spin off than a sequel though, it happens around the same timeline as Portia. Can't say more than that, it's still early. As for why this isn't a DLC, we and Team 17 couldn't reach terms regarding the revenue share, not anyone's fault, it is what it is.
More optimizations. Some of the NPCs returning. Big single player campaign. Coop possibility. That sounds really great!
I would LOVE you for a co-op mode!!! :D
Most definitely, more stuff to do after marriage whether or not you have children but especially if you do. That also said once you do have a child should be able to do more everyday things with them. Talking to people shouldn't make you drop your child. Should be able to carry and ride around with them everywhere. And when you go on dates after marriage, conversation should be a bit less, 'we're just hanging out, see you later' to be more like something personal and endearing for a married couple.
I know Zede said there’s not enough man power for Vega 5, BUT keep in mind that it’s up to us, the players, to spread the word about Portia and get more people to try it.
Pathea can only do so much via marketing, but you’d probably agree that you put more stock into player reviews and opinions with any game you consider trying.
TL;DR
Get your friends and acquaintances to try the game out and, hopefully, Pathea will have enough funding and man power to add even more content to the series beyond DLC and Sandrock.
As a marketing writer and project manager, I'm more than happy to work on the cheap if it means more expansions
