An interview of gale bug?

So this quest asks me to go around and take pictures of things, everything seems to trigger right except for the street light. I tried different angles, different street lights, diff times of the day, nothing. Am I doing something wrong?

You just need to mess around with the angle until you get the checkmark on it before taking the picture. Try zooming out further, or moving the camera up higher. There's a lot more controls for the camera that aren't listed on the screen.

I did all of that, absolutely nothing seems to be working.

Ok, so I had the same problem and I have an inkling it has something to do with a bug. If you've taken a group photo with another NPC sometimes you will constantly be taking group photosa and be teleported to whichever NPC you took a photo with. Try pressing the 'Z' key instead of manually doing it from the menu and it will throw you back into selfie mode, it should work afterwards.
