Why cant i kiss my sweetheart

I took cuddling the first time, since then kissing and massage are not selectable (greyed out) is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

How many times did you cuddle? It's a limit of three actions per day, massage is for marriage.

You get three of each action per day. I found that I couldn't kiss until lover status, but cuddle was available at boyfriend.

once, after that i wanted to kiss her but this action was greyed out. one week later still the same. for that i could put my arm around her hip or lie down, but no kiss

As tevrarain said, you can't kiss him/her because you need to be at Lover lever in order to do so.

Cuddle: from boyfriend/girlfriend status (4 hearts)
Kiss: from lover status (8 hearts)
Massage: only if married
