2. I am on a save romancing Aadit .. so I can be married and then have my damn house back!
I've only been playing the game for a couple of months (in-game time, mind you) and Aadit just... doesn't want to do anything other than stand outside the tree farm. He didn't even show up for the Sunlight Festival or the Martial Arts Tournament (and I'm pretty sure he won't show up for any of the events in the game at all). You'd think a foreigner would be much more interested in learning more about the new culture he's in than just stand by the tree farm. What's more is that once you marry Aadit he pretty much leaves forever anyway which I feel is a huge cop-out.
I REALLY hope they plan on polishing up Aadit so he's an actual person and not an afterthought. He seems to be a great, gentle person that is screwed by bad writing or lack thereof.
He perfectly fits that 'retired assassin' trope wanting redemption from his old life and wanting a peaceful retirement, but some outside element pulls him back in.
I think it would also be nice if there were one or two more female marriage candidates. Even if you count the Hulu brothers as only one, there are still 13 males and only 10 females (Merlin gets listed among the marrige candidates, but she doesn't really count, for reasons which are revealed during game play).
Although I will say, that I apprecieate the fact that none of the marriage candidates seem like children. They all act like actual adults (unlike some of the candidates in say, Stardew Valley, about half of whom seem too young to be considering marriage to anyone).
She decides that "dating" and "romance" aren't worth the time. She'd rather be doing research, and pushing the boundaries of science. Following her decision, she becomes a non-marriageable candidate.
We need to get a Merlin DLC where we teach her how to properly have a sexual interaction with someone. For science, of course.
Can’t wait to see her call that “underwhelming” as well
There's someone for everyone. Personal opinion rule out.
