Did anybody marry Oak? Also just learned that you can marry the Hulu brothers and Merlin. Fascinating.

I married Mint but my other option was Dr Xu. Both are super sweet. My character just looks great with Mint (she has blue hair) lol.

While I didn't choose a girl I do like Petra, Emily, Lucy and now i'm curious about Merlin since I had no clue you could marry her.

Mint is my 'go to' spouse. But I have a save where Gust was the guy for me. The girls for some reason all annoy me. Oh and I have an Aadit save .. cause I want to see that story!

I cannot make myself break up the 'couples' I have shipped in my head. Antione, Xu, Sam, Phyllis, Nora, Arlo and whoever I forgot for not having any coffee yet.

Went for Arlo in full release though because I saw that he was pretty popular in the game's tag. Kind of disappointed but oh well. He's okay I guess.

Plus, you’re basically “usurping the throne” to be Portia’s next Mayor since Gust is gonna buzz off to Atara and Gale has no other direct competition for his seat.

On a female playthrough, if I ever do one, the obvious choice would be Gust. He’s romantic af and almost as sexy as McDonald.

My character got married to Dr Xu, he has some nicely romantic scenes I loved that. And I like that he participates to all the town's festivals, it's fun, he's trying so hard. Also fun and nice to hear other characters talk about him, I like to romance a character that can have some kind of equal standing with the MC in how important he is to the other NPCs.

Very interested in Petra and Alice too, probably romancing them when I make a female character on the Switch. Had thought about Mint too (that voice really is an issue though, but most importantly since he appears quite late I didn't want to wait too long to try and romance someone on my first game) and Aadit but - like for the two girsl actually - I'll be at least waiting for him to get some more content/quests.

I really like the calm and nerdy characters, I just need for them to have some story/importance in the game, in addition to sweet and romantic moments.

1. I was talking about how hard he seems to try and win any competition but he's usually not very good, it's dorky and that's cute.
At the same time, I don't find that unattractive either anyway, as long as someone is not a bad person and isn't creepy about it, then it's fine - the only problem is when someone keeps being pushy even after being clearly told no, and that's not unattractive it's kinda scary, but that wouldn't have been the case here with Dr Xu if that's what you're talking about (since he doesn't ask out the MC again if the player say no the one time he does ask us).

2. I'm not straight and there are already enough heterosexuality in my honest opinion, everywhere, on our face, all the time.
Also being ask that by someone who apparently has a obsession about Asian girls (and old McDonald?), is... disturbing to say the least.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, dorks need more love - they’re the best kind of people imho.

Also, heterosexuality is in our face all the time because it’s statistically what most people are.

HOWEVER...

McDonald is someone that transcends petty spectrums of sexuality. It starts making a lot more sense when you think of him as being similar to Gabe Newell - he’s just so damn sexy and that beard... that beard..... uh, sorry, what was I saying again?

Yeah, Asian women are objectively beautiful but that doesn’t stop me from appreciating a sexy beast like McDonald, Gust, or Mint... but yeah, McDonald is best husbando and we need a patch for him to be romanceable ASAP.
