Jealousy Help

I am trying to get the jealousy achievement out of the way but am having a hell of a time to even get someone to accept my confession. The person I am confessing to is considered a good friend which is way above the relationship level I got my current boo at.

Does the confession difficulty go up if you are already married or that the person you are confessing to has a good relationship with your spouse? Or is it just luck and have to keep asking every day or reloading?

Oh wow I didn't even know that achievement even existed. I tried it out on my file since my character's already married and has a bunch of people with 4 hearts+, and most of the people replied with "This is wrong, you're already married" with the exception of Emily who went "Aw I'm glad you like me but let's just stay friends"

I'm not even sure if it's possible since getting married in a town as small as Portia should be big news and none of the people there seem scummy enough to break up a loving marriage. Plus there's the fact that if you have multiple girlfriends/boyfriends and get married to one, the other ones will send a letter to you saying about how you broke their heart.

Does the achievement require you to get married or just have multiple lovers?

I read a post from Team17 that says "Even If you’re married, you’ll still have the option to date someone else at the same time". So I guess it is possible. I keep getting the same response as you, Gentleshark. I kept confessing and sleeping for two seasons and that was all I got. Maybe your friendship needs to be maxed out to confess when you are married?

Now I am just thinking I might need to do a backup save, divorce Gust, date someone and then confess to someone else. Kill two achievements with one stone.

To get the achievement you need to get caught going on a date with someone else.

I think you have to be dating, but not married in order to get this to work. You could divorce your spouse, date them, then try dating another person.

Or, you know, you could just be a good person and skip this horrible achievement

I could be a good person but I want my 100% achievement.

I will just load a backup save and my boo will be none the wiser. Only I will live with the guilt.

Are we talking about the Two-Timer achievement? You need to date someone else while dating your first one. Go on a date with either of the two and let the other romance person finds you, like as in walk into them on purpose. A dialogue appear and the achievement should pop up. This only occurs as boyfriend/girlfriend, not married. Theeeen you can reload back as if it never happened.

Ah OK, that was what I wanted to know. I think I still have a backup from before my character married Gust so I will try from there.

I have tried everything all of you have suggested and they act like they don't notice it.. ugh! i get right in their faces and smooch the other one lmao and nothing so not cool lol

I figured out you have to have someone not in their friend tree. I tried with Gust (on a date with him) and Albert and nothing. I ran into Remington and gave his a heart knot and immediately got the achievement. Then went back a day to reverse it all, I had asked out both Albert and Gust the day before.
