Hard to notice on anything but the tankier enemies, but any enemy that wanders, or in this case is pushed, too far from its original spawn point will start recovering its HP rapidly, I think in chunks of 10% of its max HP per tick.
So if you want to beat it now, try to only knock it back a little, then back off and let it come towards you, basically knocking it back some, letting it walk back to you, so that it never gets too far from its spawn point for it to start healing.
all monsters regenerate HP if you knock back them outside of their respawn range.
Has anyone managed to get the actual box since the update?
I got one Saturday the 2nd.
