Why enter them, though?
I'm not sure if it's a bug but the rooms don't seem to scale in reward/threat at all.
Find an abandoned room in Ruin #1 and you'll run into a room with Lv1 snails and pink sofas.
Find an abandoned room 50 levels later in Ruin #4 and you'll into the exact same Lv1 snails and pink sofas.
And xcharger369 - Yeah, I was wondering if I had cleared out too much.
I never had this problem in the early access hours I played, so it made me curious.
Though it can make your house look funny, if you end up basically wallpapering your house with pink sofas. :p
In the early access, it took a large amount of pigment to recolor anything. I should check and see if that's changed in the full release.
And I managed to get in a room using lyasenu's "run around mashing E" technique! Two more sofas, some old parts and...something else I can't remember.
I've noticed this too, so now I just dig to the top and don't clear around them until after I have cleared the inside.
Remember back in EA when exiting the secret room sent you clear back to the mine entrance? That was annoying! 😁 So happy they fixed it.
