Best wife/husband?
Hi everybody! Im playing this again and was wondering your opinion on who the best wife/husband is?

toss up .... currently have Mint as her husband and he does some chores and cuddles her horse every morning too ...

if you go for the help or something, Guss gives you few gols, changes your house wall interior and sometimes gives you gifts. Ginger gives you 2000 gold (well Gale actually) sometimes and Mint gives you 1000-1500 every 10th of every month. Emily, Alice, Sonia and some hulu brothers help you in home. Aside that mint and emily have "rare" achievements. The civil corps only gives you benefits when you post like reduced time, better loot or lowered costs. The ones that work like Aadit and Phyllis gives you lowered costs or random gifts. In my opinion, arlo helps you get better items, and Phyllis resets your skill points for anytime you need for "better pricing". Btw

My first girl has gone for Arlo. Double the number of requested items for Civil Corps runs (which I often get now!) is better than a helper at home, IMO, because Ack can do the latter, and I always need mucus/bones/worn fur more often than I can gather it. [Sam and Remington would be the same in that respect].

His spousal quest to Starlight Island is also adorbs.

Can't go past the VA, either.

To be fair, I haven't tried the others yet. But I suspect I'll have trouble switching. ;)

I think once we develop faves, we're stuck LOL Mint is my "go to" followed by Gust. One is married to Aadit and my very first save married Dr Xu after like 5 years. But Mint .. that's my boy!

Yeah, it’s hard to try others on different playthroughs when you have a favorite.

But, objectively speaking, Ginger is best girl. She’s cute, she’s polite, she’s caring... what more could you want?

I'm only at Month 2 Day 2 Year 1, but I'm working on Emily. She passes by the house every day when I'm working on other stuff, so it's easy to remember to interact with her.

Emily is probably the closest NPC to my wife, personality-wise. Surely there's an element of NPC "attraction" based on real-life attraction.
In real life I'd never go for a Ginger.
(Edit: When I say "a Ginger" I do mean the NPC, not 'redheads'.)

Different strokes. Emily is friends with two fashion divas that like to gossip and are just, in general, annoying. Ginger has no friends and stays home all day - what’s not to love?
