recovery machine photo will not work

Hi portia fans,

i have the quest where i have to make photos.
the photo of the recovery machine doesnt work.
i tried sooooo many positions,but it will not work.
petra is 6 days now in the same position in front of the machine.
is that the problem?
I also tried my own recovery machine.

Try taking the photo while standing in the corner of the machine and the pillar behind it, or while standing near the pipe to the left of the machine, you may need to zoom in or move the camera around a little while in these areas.
These were the only areas that I could get it to work from.

Hi! I initially had a couple of problems getting some of the photos to work too (the lamp post and the recovery machine were troublesome).

Try standing right up against the item before triggering the camera, then moving the camera around using WASD until you see the green tick on the object. Try the same a couple of steps back directly in front of the machine, or off to either side diagonally.

If you persevere you'll find a sweet spot that enables you to register the photo. I think the trick is moving the camera around rather than just zooming in and out. Hope that helps!

i really hate it... i dont get this stupid photo...
i only get the green thing at petra not at the machine. i really tried everyyyything.

To repeat what L-Clark said, when you are in position a green tick will appear in the "take photo" screen
