Mint quest?

So I just divorced Dr. Xu since I assumed the Mint quest is relationship related because of the "First Love" achievement.
However, the first quest I get is the Dr. Xu one, which I've heard ends up in lover/husband if accepted?
What do I have to do to trigger the Mint quest? And can it be triggered if I'm boyfriend/girlfriend with someone already?

You need to keep giving Mint the heart knot and an conversation will initiate. It took me three tries in order for the event to start.

One more question... Mint accepted the heart knot and is now my sweetheart, but I didn't get the achievement. Is there more to this quest?

Hello, just got the achievement today. Can confirm that you must "accept Mint's proposal" to obtain the achievement. If you've done the Gust proposal questline, it is a similar kind of thing.

Thanks! I messed mine up, haha! I forgot that you need 8 full hearts to propose. I only have 7, so I reloaded back to when I was married to Dr. Xu and now working on getting the 8 hearts with Mint. Then I'll go back and do the quest, reload one day back, do the Dr. Xu quest and hopefully play on from there :p
I really wish they would stop making these relationship quests... Make them friend quests instead, so that us who has already lost our heart to someone, can stay with that person, heh.

I also wish we didn't have to acquire achievements by accepting proposals; I am not a big fan of divorce (nothing against it for those who want it, but I try to stick to it for myself). Anyway, to play a game that require me to marry and divorce feels kind of strange to me.

I did the Dr. Wu Quest and said yes to his proposal lol and now we are married next day but he never moved in. I am at a loss what is wrong. Do i have get more hearts till he moves in. Please help me and thank you! I also would like to see a sale to buy Pennys song and thank you! I dated him giving him presents hope soon to get him in my house!

my choice always was Dr. Wu or Mint.
