I think I found its spawning pattern. SPOILER BELOW:

Chance to spawn very early in the morning (8-9am), between south block and that tree on previous page. Season doesn't matter.

In retrospect I kinda knew what the name was when I saw the cardboard box.

Now I have to find it again to get a second fang for the knuckles.

What the hell is that? Ive been several days in the desert hunting the snakes and spiders in hope of a elite monsters spawning and sill no luck, perphaps it was added in the last update

probably doesn't matter when you visit, but a low chance of spawning

I would suggest rolling it by going to the ruins just above that, enter/exit, then check, repeating till it spawns

Found it by going there first thing in the morning, there was some spawn time mechanic in the game before, that some mobs would only respawn in during certain time window, perphaps its back.

Well I did that for 2 days, seeing between 8 and 18 snakes on half a mounts stamina (enough for a quick return trip)

so probably saw thousands of spawns, and not a one a box

Try going to that location, right next to the grape vines and go straight on the direction im facing. U ll find a a very small cliff to your right and a tree on your left, its stays in that area. There is only one and it seems to have the same spawn restriction of the elite, need to wait a few days after killing before respawning again. Also the knuckles are amazing, even though u cant dash with it, it has the highest dps in the game even more than the hammer, poison decreases enemy stats and also have the biggest crit multiplier, its aewsome with 100% crit, too bad there is no strong enemies to fight for now.

Exit to main menu/game and load you save again should reset the spawning seed, increasing the chance you find him.

Another thing I've found is if you killed him on a day he won't spawn on the next day. But if you exit to main menu and reload the next day he'll spawn.

Got my first, that location, summer, 8:10am

Second one, day after, much further west, 8:25am


For +120 damage weapons they hit harder per hit than the +200 nova sword, they hit faster and omg are boss killers (not that bosses needed that kind of killing)

Have done over 3500 in a crit

I know what I did wrong. I tried them in the HR in the wasteland first. Forgot that they are all rather immune to poison. Lesson learned: For this case I will keep the nova sword. Also, going that close to enemies hurts more (me, that is).
